The Class 10 Karnataka examination dates 2021 have been announced on June 28. Rather than conducting examinations for all the subjects, this year, the state board has decided to conduct the Karnataka SSLC exams on two days in view of the pandemic. While announcing the same, Primary and Secondary Education minister S Suresh Kumar said, "On 19th July examination will be conducted for core subjects-Mathematics, Science and Social Science. Similarly, on 22nd July, the examination will be held for language subjects." Karnataka SSLC Hall Tickets to be released on June 30.


Earlier, the state board had postponed the examinations and decided to conduct them in the third week of July considering the situation of COVId then. The objective paper would be of 120 marks and have 40 questions each. Students must go through the revised Karnataka SSLC Exam Pattern carefully before starting with the preparations for the examinations.
Earlier, the Karnataka SSLC exams 2021 were scheduled to be conducted from June 21 to July 5, 2021. The State Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar had announced the same on March 1, 2021. The SSLC exams were to begin from 'First Language' on June 21 and conclude on July 5 with 'Social Science'.


Karnataka SSLC 2021 Exam Day Instructions

  • Electronic devices like calculators and mobiles are restricted in the examination hall
  • Any student having unfair means will be disbarred from the examination

  • Students must note that an extra 15 minutes will be given to them for reading the question paper

  • The maximum marks for First Language papers are 100 while the total marks for the remaining subjects are 80 per subject
  • An extra one hour time will be given by the Board to the specially-abled students


Karnataka SSLC exams: COVID Guidelines

  1. Students who have symptoms of COVID will be given permission to write exams at a separate centre
  2. Students with COVID-19 will be made to write exams at Covid Care Centres, CCCs
  3. Vaccination will be made compulsory for those who will be working at their centers
  4. 18+ people will be vaccinated within one week
  5. Students who belong to the border areas would be allowed to enter the state to write the examinations - Hall Tickets for SSLC examination would be considered as a valid Pass
